Alderman Sir Andrew Parmley, 689th Lord Mayor of the City of London shares his thoughts and reflections on his time in office.  He was the Lord Mayor of London for 2016–17.

Sir Andrew’s Reflections as 689th Lord Mayor of London takes place on 13th May 2019 at Vintners’ Hall, the home of the Worshipful Company of Vintners (of which Sir Andrew is current Master), In superb and historic Livery Company surroundings, the audience enjoys a networking reception, fine dinner and engaging speeches. It’s an opportunity for everyone to reflect on the contemporary relevance of the Lord Mayor’s role, and on the value and global reach of London’s civic and community life.

The atmosphere and ambience is relaxed and convivial, with the audience maintained at a size that ensures guests feel party of an intimate gathering. Our atmosphere is enhanced by the rich diversity of our attendees. Alongside key representatives from City banks and businesses, academia, and industry, guests include distinguished representatives of London Embassies, High Commissions and Livery Companies.

Lady Parmley, who is currently Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, will also be at the event.
